It’s important to understand the role of these government sponsored programs as you investigate other funding strategies that are available to help you meet your future medical expenses.
In order to assist seniors the SEAGO Area Agency on Aging and the Wellness Depot are sponsoring, “Help with Medicare”. Grace Murcio, insurance counselor will be available to answer your questions about Medicare regulations, insurance benefits, and other relevant insurance products.
Please call Grace Murcio at 520-432-5301 extension 205 for an appointment. Appointments will be held on Monday, August 9th and Monday, August 23rd from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

About 310,000 coronary heart disease deaths occur out of the hospital or in emergency departments each year in the United States. Of those deaths, about 166,200 are due to sudden cardiac arrest. Without immediate, effective CPR from a bystander, a person’s chance of surviving sudden cardiac arrest decreases. On average, less than one-third of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims receive bystander CPR. Performing CPR can help a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest.
Come learn “Compression-Only or Hands-Only CPR” on Friday, August 27th at 2:00 PM. The training does not offer a certification, but prepares you to help adults with sudden cardiac arrest.
The Wellness Depot is offering FREE Breastfeeding 101 Classes to the public on Friday, August 27th from 5:15 to 6:30 PM. There is no need to sign up ahead of time, and parents planning for a baby may attend. Topics covered include how to get breastfeeding off to a good start; what to expect; taking care of yourself when you’re breastfeeding; and how to make sure your baby is getting enough milk. Time will be allowed in the presentation to answer your individual questions. This class does not replace prenatal classes.
